Guests have a choice of inshore and offshore fishing excursions that last either half or three-quarters of a day leaving from the waters of the Weeki Wachee. Gulf Grouper Deep Sea Fishing takes anglers into the waters of the Gulf of Mexico for a day of fishing and fun. Charters take anglers on a search for the best spots to fish for cobia, trout, shark and other sports fish.
Boats include a fiberglass roof over the deck for shade, a restroom area, seats for up to six anglers, Ray Marine Radar, outriggers, tackle and fishing equipment.
Charters can be booked for a full day (eight hours), half day (four hours) or an extended 10-hour-plus day. Gulf Grouper Deep Sea Fishing is docked at the marina in Hernando Beach.

Deep sea fishing charters with Thunder Party Boat leave the Hernando Beach marina daily at 8 a.m. and return at 4 p.m. Each charter includes all of the necessary equipment, such as rod, reel, bait and tackle.
Guests on previous charter trips with Thunder Party Boat have caught grouper, grunts, Spanish mackerel, sea bass, cobia, flounder, triggerfish, hogfish and amberjack. Fishing charters generally head out 20 to 30 miles off the shores of the Gulf of Mexico.
