Why is Rochester such a popular tourist destination?

While Rochester is a beautiful historic city with many cultural and historical attractions, it is not often considered to be a top tourist destination. Some more popular tourist destinations in New York State include New York City, Niagara Falls, and the Finger Lakes region.
