What is lankanese?

Lankanese, or Sri Lankan Portuguese Creole, is an Indo-Aryan language belonging to the Indo-European language family that was principally spoken by Sri Lankan Portuguese Burghers who are people or families of Indo-European or other Eurasian (mixed Asian and European ancestry).
