Turn on the Lingo Voice Translator by pressing the "On/Off" button on the right hand side of the device.
Scroll down from the main menu using the main arrow key to locate the appropriate chapter. The main menu lists 16 different chapters allowing you to choose your specific translation need.
Select the desired translation chapter from the list and hit the "Enter" button.
Scroll down the list to find the appropriate sub-chapter. For example, if you have chosen to navigate the "Phrases" chapter, you can select the "Communications" sub chapter to find the specific phrase for which you are looking.
Continue navigating through sub-chapters until you locate the desired word or phrase. Press the corresponding number button to select the language to which you want to translate the word or phrase. There is a complete list of all the languages offered and their corresponding number buttons on the back of the device. Several languages might be assigned to each number --- press the side arrow keys to navigate through the languages.
Press the "F2" button to hear the word or phrase out loud.
