Instructions for Clear Handicap Sleeved Placard Holders

A handicapped placard is issued to people with mobility impairments so they can park close to their destination. The sun, cold, and wear and tear can make the placard hard to read or more difficult to hang on a rear view mirror. By using a clear plastic sleeve to protect the handicapped placard, it will stay clean and dry.

Instructions

    • 1

Cut the sheet protector in half so it measures 11 inches high by 4 1/4 inches wide. Place the cut sheet protector on a flat surface with the open edge to the right.

    • 2

Open the plastic sheet protector and place an 11-inch strip of double sided tape on the inside right edge.

    • 3

Peel the protective material off the strip of tape to expose the second side of tape. Carefully fold the plastic sheet protector over the tape and press to secure it into place.

    • 4

Place the handicapped placard into the clear sleeve, with the hanger portion at the top but not sticking out of the protector.

    • 5

Clip the magnetic bulldog clip onto the top part of the sleeve.

    • 6

Place a strip of magnetic tape behind the rear view mirror in your vehicle.

    • 7

Display your handicapped placard by attaching the magnetic clip to the magnetic tape on the back of the rear view mirror.
