* Spanish is the most widely spoken language in Peru. It is used in government, education, and business, as well as in day-to-day communication.
* Quechua is the second most spoken language in Peru, with over 3 million native speakers. It is spoken in the highlands and southern parts of the country, including around the Lake Titicaca region.
