Under current rules:
* You can use a GB or NI photocard driving licence to drive in Switzerland if accompanied by an official translation in one of Switzerland's languages (French, German or Italian).
* Driving licences issued between January 1 1957 and January 31 187 include some text in French. You’re not required to provide a translation for these old-style driving licences
* If you live in Gibraltar it's only possible to exchange their UK issued photocard driving licence in person if they live in Jersey
