Can you drive in Switzerland on a UK license?

Yes, you can drive on Switzerland on a UK licence.

Under current rules:

* You can use a GB or NI photocard driving licence to drive in Switzerland if accompanied by an official translation in one of Switzerland's languages (French, German or Italian).

* Driving licences issued between January 1 1957 and January 31 187 include some text in French. You’re not required to provide a translation for these old-style driving licences

* If you live in Gibraltar it's only possible to exchange their UK issued photocard driving licence in person if they live in Jersey
