How much money are you allow to take Peru on the plane?

According to the Peruvian government, there are no restrictions on the amount of money you can bring into or out of the country. However, if you are carrying more than US$10,000, you must declare the amount to the customs authorities at the airport. This also includes equivalent USD for other foreign currency.
