Bringing Cash into Peru: Limits and Declaration Rules

Peru imposes no limit on the amount of cash you can bring in or take out. However, if you carry more than US$10,000 (or equivalent in other currencies), you must declare it to customs upon arrival or departure. Failure to declare can result in seizure and penalties. This applies to all currencies combined.
