The advent of the air mattress has made spare rooms around the country comfortable for guests. Thrifty travelers can now increase the number of guests they can fit into a hotel room, saving extra money. Deflating and storing an air mattress is simple and can be accomplished in under 10 minutes. With the proper technique, your bed will fit in a small box.

Instructions

    • 1

Release the intake valve on your mattress frame, which is the same valve you used to fill your mattress.

    • 2

Force the air out of your frame by gently pushing on a corner of the mattress while working the air toward the valve.

    • 6

Refold the foot of your mattress onto the head.

    • 7

Roll your frame up, starting from any of the four sides.

    • 8

Place your mattress frame in the manufacturer's box or another storage case.
