Where do place medals on a confederate uniform?
There were no official rules for the placement of medals on a Confederate uniform. In general, medals were worn on the left breast of service dress uniforms, above or below the name tag. They could be worn on the right breast of semi-dress or formal uniforms. Ribbons were worn in the same manner as medals, with the exception of the Confederate Medal of Honor, which was always worn on the left breast above or below the name tag.
