The healthcare provider may recommend decontamination procedures, such as washing the skin and clothing with soap and water, and may also prescribe antibiotics or other medications to prevent or treat infection.
5. Cooperate with any investigations conducted by the appropriate authorities.
This may involve providing information about her activities and contacts prior to the suspected exposure, and submitting to testing or sample collection.
6. Monitor her health for any signs of illness.
If she develops any symptoms, such as fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, she should seek medical attention immediately.
