Garmin's City Navigator North America covers the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The updated City Navigator North America NT covers all those places and Mexico, U.S. Virgin Islands, French Guyana, Saint Barthelemy, the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Martinique and Guadalupe.
Both models offer efficient features like turn restrictions, turn-by-turn directions, speed categories and the names of major highways, roads and interstates. However, Garmin's City Navigator North America NT speaks out the names of streets, has postal code support for Canada and traffic data for compatible devices.
While the City Navigator North America has its trip planning software MapSource available on DVD and CDROM, City Navigator North America NT only provides it on DVD.
