Amada open its doors in 2005 and since has been considered Philadelphia's only authentic Spanish Tapas restaurant. The ambiance is trendy yet old world Spanish, complementing the earthy Mediterranean flavors in the dishes. Amada features a full bar and private banquet rooms, ideal for hosting large groups. Spasso Italian Grill opened in 1998 in Philadelphia's Old City neighborhood. Spasso recently added a banquet room that can host a large group of up to 150 guests. The ambiance is casual and inviting. Buddakan opened in 1998 in the Old City area of Philadelphia. Buddakan features a communal table that seats up to 24 guests, located at the foot of a 10-foot gold leaf Buddha. The mezzanine area in the restaurant also is available to host larger semi-private parties Monday through Thursday for groups up to 55 guests. The ambience is Zen, chic and casual. The Asian-fusion inspired cuisine includes traditional Miso soup, seafood, steaks and fried rice. Buddakan is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.
