Old San Juan is an island off the mainland on the northern side of Puerto Rico. The area offers visitors a variety of shops, museums, cafes, parks and restaurants. It is connected to the mainland by three different bridges: Puente G. Esteves, Puente San Antonio and Puente Dos Hermanos. Old San Juan also has a free trolley to help people get around and see the city.

    • Cafe Barlovento is an ocean front bar and restaurant that serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes cooked with traditional Caribbean flavors. This is a great place to come for a casual dinner and a few cocktails while watching the ocean, just a few feet away. An extensive wine and cocktail list is also offered. The restaurant is open nightly for dinner and drinks until 2a.m., but is closed on Mondays.
