How much cash can one carry to Israel?

The maximum amount of foreign currency that may enter Israel without any restrictions is $50,000 or its equivalent in other foreign currency such as Euros or GBP. If carrying more than $50,000 upon entering Israel, this must be declared using a Foreign Currency Report form, provided by Israeli Banks or currency exchange offices located at Ben Gurion Airport.
