What does Tiresias foretell in The Odyssey?
Tiresias reveals several things in The Oddysey. He predicts that Odysseus will be reunited with his family and retake his home, slaying many of his enemies. He warns Odysseus of the dangers he faces in the sea, including the alluring and dangerous Sirens, the six-headed monster Skylla and the whirlpool Charybdis. Tiresias also cautions Odysseus about harming the sacred cattle of the sun god Helios, which will lead to severe consequences.
