Spend a on Half Moon Caye which features showers, bath facilities and starry skies. Belize’s northern-most caye is home to the popular tourist town of San Pedro. Located along the eastern coast of Ambergris Caye, the town serves as the gateway to the northern barrier reef that lies minutes away. Amigos del Mar Dive Shop, located in the center of San Pedro, offers full-service dive trips to nearly 35 dive sites in the area. A maze of canyons and crevices at depths from 60-to-80 feet harbor numerous shark species, friendly dolphins, turtles and eagle rays. Boulder coral surrounds swim-through caverns and tunnels that give divers plenty of opportunities to explore. Morning and afternoon trips are scheduled daily and provide two-dives each. Longer trips to outlying portions of the reef can also be arranged.
