Discounts are available for AARP members and no pets are allowed. Cancellation must be made 48 hours in advance for Sunday through Thursday stays, and 30 days ahead for Friday and Saturday stays.
Built in 1886 as a possible retirement home, the Captain Wohlt Inn was instead converted into an income property. During your stay, enjoy a hot breakfast of local cured or smoked sausage, quiche, potatoes, fresh bread and fresh fruit and much more. If you visit Hermann after February 3, 2011, consider staying at the Captain Wohlt Inn. As of January 2011, the rates for the Captain Wohlt Inn begin at $75 per night for rooms and $125 per night for suites. Stay for an additional night and receive a 10 percent discount and a 15 percent discount on your third night. Discounts are available for staying additional nights. Cancellations require a $20 fee and must be made at least seven days prior to the reservation date. Special events, such as honeymoons, banquets and anniversaries are welcome and have special rates. The inn is non-smoking only, but smoking is allowed outside.
The Vinchester Inn's 11 rooms were built in 1995. Enjoy the private bath, small, loaded refrigerator and small microwave provided in each room. The rooms also have two double beds, heating and air conditioning, dresser, and a built-in vanity. Balconies are available in three rooms. The inn provides local maps where you can enjoy restaurants, the Amtrak station and the park, all within walking distance of the Vinchester Inn. Enjoy the free continental breakfast and wireless Internet. One handicapped room is also available. As of January 2011, room rates start at $62 per night. A 50 percent deposit is required when you make your reservation, and a two-week notice is required for cancellation. The inn is non-smoking and pets are not allowed, except for service animals.
