Yosemite Lodge at the Falls is part of the National Parks Service accommodations within the park itself, just a short stroll from Yosemite Falls. It offers rustic accommodation that blends with its natural habitat. In April 2010, the 245-room lodge opened the first of its "Green Rooms." These rooms have been completely refurbished and feature environmentally responsible energy features. The Parks Service hopes to refurbish all rooms to this standard in due course. As at 2010, room rates start at around $120 per night, and the lodge has the cheapest hotel accommodation within the park. On-site parking is available, and the lodge is located at shuttle stop No. 8 on the free Yosemite Valley shuttle.
Located in Mariposa on Highway 140, and only a short drive from the Arch Rock entrance to the park, the Best Western Yosemite Way Station is six miles drive from Yosemite Valley, 32 miles from Glacier Point and 35 miles from the giant sequoias at Mariposa Grove. As at 2010, room rates start from $49 per night. The hotel has an outdoor heated pool and a business center.
The Lake View Lodge in Lee Vining is on the southwest shore of Mono Lake, near the Tioga Pass entrance to the park. It is 59 miles from Yosemite Valley and eight miles from Tuolumne Meadows. The Lake View offers rooms and cottages and is within walking distance of the small town's restaurants and stores. As at 2010, room rates start at $69 per night.
