The two hotels, the Ahwahnee Hotel and the Wawona Hotel, and the one lodge in the valley, Yosemite Lodge at the Falls, all offer romance packages for two. All three offer two nights of lodging, dinner for two, wine and souvenir wineglasses, a surprise at turndown, and special keepsake gifts. Because it's a four-diamond-hotel experience, the Ahwahnee romance package is the most expensive of the romance packages. The Ahwahnee has full amenities, refrigerators, television and phones.
The Wawona Hotel and the Yosemite Lodge at the Falls are less expensive than the Ahwahnee Hotel. The Wawona is available if you want to relive historic Victorian times in Yosemite---it doesn't have phones or televisions.

This package celebrates famous people (including Theodore Roosevelt, Diamond Jim Brady and William Jennings Bryan) who stayed at the historic Wawona Hotel, which is more than 125 years old. The Wawona is located four miles from the park's South entrance and is surrounded by a grove of sequoia redwoods and a meadow with rushing streams. Travel back in time: The rooms are appointed with antique period pieces from the Victorian era, and there are no telephones or televisions in the rooms. The package includes one night of lodging, breakfast for two in the dining room, the book "Yosemite's Historic Wawona" by author Shirley Sargent, an area walking map and a special gift. You have an option to share a bathroom with another room (in the "old days," sharing a bathroom with another room was typical).

Play 18 holes of golf on the original nine-hole golf course on the Yosemite Valley floor. The golf course was built in 1918 and designed to blend in with the park's surrounding beauty; it's also one of the few organic courses in the United States (no pesticides are used). The golfing package includes two nights of lodging at the historic Wawona hotel for two, breakfast for two both mornings in the Wawona dining room, 18 holes of golf for two, and one sleeve of Wawona golf balls.
