Apalachicola National Forest is located in Tallahassee, Florida, and is home to many ATV trails. There are 195,000 acres here and approximately 80 percent of this is ATV trails that are clearly marked. The trails are 12-feet wide and are all two-way with each trail clearly marked every 500 feet. A title is required for all OHVs, and riders are cautioned that additional laws apply to the operation of these vehicles.

The Big Cypress National Preserve is located in Ochopee, Florida, and is home to deer, bear, panthers and an abundance of birds. The natural swamp preserve is over 720,000 acres and here you can ride ATVs, camp, canoe, kayak and hike. There are six campgrounds that are located on this preserve, all of which have ATV trails and camping. Most of these campgrounds are open all year 'round, but a few are only open during certain seasons.

Withlacoochee State Forest is found in Brooksville, Florida, and is approximately 2,600 acres. This is a large state park with many trails for beginners to experts. There is a large wooded camping area for overnight stays. This park is open from dawn until dusk. During the wet seasons, there are quite a few mud holes for ATV riders to enjoy. It also has a few large open areas for high-speed riding as well.
