Three Disney owned hotels reside on Disney property. The Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa are Disney owned, managed and operated properties that provide guests with extra on-site resort benefits. Cheaper hotel options exist right outside the boundaries of Disney property.
Multiple hotels, with rates much lower than those on Disney property, exist in the Anaheim area. Disneyland recommends hotels that fall under a class of alternate lodging options called Good Neighbor Hotels. Disney assures guests that, if they select a hotel pre-designated as a Good Neighbor of the park, guests will be as close to the park as possible without having to stay in a Disney owned hotel.
Forty-one Good Neighbor hotels exist, including an assortment of economy and value hotels. Nationally known budget hotel chains -- such as Motel 6, Quality Inn & Suites and Ramada Inn -- are included. Good Neighbor hotels typically provide guests with complimentary shuttle service to and from Disneyland; they also offer package deals with applicable discounts for Disney theme park tickets.
