Cheap Hotels in the DC Metro Area

The Washington D.C. metro area includes portions of both Maryland and Virginia and is served by the Metrorail public transportation system. Some hotels in the metro area provide an inexpensive yet convenient way to see the nation's capital. Despite the proliferation of big name chains, such as Hilton and Marriott in the area, small hotels still exist in the area that offer cheaper rates. These small establishments are all between $70 and $125 per night, as of September 2010.
