Located just off the main street of Getsemani, Media Luna, is Casa Tatis. The hotel is well-maintained and cleaned daily. It has good-sized common areas; a sitting-room in the lobby, upstairs patio and a large, clean, fully functional kitchen with a six-person table, full-sized fridge and stove/oven. The rooms are small, with comfortable beds, private bathrooms, A/C, cable-TV and Wi-Fi. There is also one room with a fan, for a cheaper rate. If there are no rooms available, the owner has two other places in the same area.

The Hotel San Roque, on Getsemani's main street, is a few steps from one of the areas most popular backpacker hang-out, the Media Luna roof-top bar. A few blocks from the hotel is the centuries-old Castle San Felipe. From the roof-top balcony, you get a nice view of the castle and surrounding area. The hotel has 13 rooms with private bathrooms, a fan or A/C and TV as well as a five-person dorm with five fans. There is a dining area, with an eight-person table, sofa in the lobby, a small kitchen and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The hotel sells drinks and beer. A tour company is located in the lobby.

Located just off the main street, Hotel Familiar is a good choice if you are looking for a cheap, basic, quiet hotel to sleep in, but not really hang-out in. The rooms are spacious, but a little dark and only have fans. Some of the rooms have bathrooms, which here is a good choice because the shared-bathrooms are a little out of the way. The interior courtyard is large, but the furnishings are sparse. Guests have use of the basic kitchen.
