Situated in the mountains above Anza Valley, just 45 miles south of the desert resort town of Palm Springs, the Anza RV Resort features RV and tent camping sites. The campgrounds feature mountain biking trails, barbeque and picnic facilities, as well as a recreation center equipped with a billiards table. As of July 2010, RV sites with water and electrical hook-ups run $18 for weekday and $20 for weekend nights. Sites without hook-ups cost only $13 on weekdays and $15 for weekends. RV campgrounds located throughout the Inland Empire region, including in such cities as Indio and Desert Hot Springs, can run as high as $40 to $50 in the peak season.

Located in northeastern California, Lassen Pines RV Resort resides near Lassen Volcanic National Park and Shasta National Forest. Spread across 68 acres, the campground offers a heated swimming pool, a bathhouse, and laundry facilities. In July of 2010, standard sites with electric and water hook-ups cost just $25 for both weekday and weekend nights. The majority of the RV sites also include picnic tables, propane lines, and grills or fire pits. Campgrounds in the surrounding region, particularly those situated close to neighboring Mount Shasta, typically cost around $35 to $40 a night.

The Green Acres RV Park resides in the northern California town of Redding. The RV campsite includes a swimming pool, laundry facilities, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe facilities, and a picnic and patio pavilion outfitted with barbecue grills and sinks. Standard RV rates in July of 2010 cost $25 a night for weekend and weekday stays. Campground rates in the region average around $35 to $40 a night. RV hook-up services include cable, and Wi-Fi access. The campgrounds do not offer tent camping sites.
