Once a sleepy fishing village surrounded by somnolent rice paddies, the seaside resort of Jomtien is now thriving as an international vacation destination. Located just south of noisy and crowded Pattaya, Jomtien is a relaxing alternative, with a wide, curving, clean beach that offers visitors a variety of seaside recreation in the heavy winter season.
