Armenian Christmas Eve Traditions

After attending Christmas Eve church services, Armenian families gather for a festive meal featuring traditional dishes:

• Khashlama – stewed lamb or beef
• Tolma – stuffed grape leaves
• Gata – sweet bread

Families exchange gifts and enjoy each other's company in a warm, joyful atmosphere. Additional customs may include singing Christmas carols, decorating the Christmas tree, and gathering around a bonfire to celebrate the holiday season.
