Did Americans cross Rhine river on d day?

The American forces did not participate in the D-Day landing in Normandy, France which crossed the English Channel. There were only British, Canadian, Belgian, French, Polish, Norwegian, New Zealand, Czechoslovak, Netherlands, and Greek participants during the crossing of English Channel in the D-Day landing.
