All Inclusive Resorts in New England

Vermont and New Hampshire's mountains, the Rhode Island and Maine coastlines and the historic sites in Connecticut and Massachusetts make New England well-suited for vacation getaways. New England is dotted with hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and inns, but those who don't like surprises at their end of their vacation will appreciate the area's all-inclusive resorts.
  1. Twin Lake Village

    • Twin Lake offers 200 acres of New Hampshire countryside nestled on the banks of Little Lake Sunapee. Guests choose between a hotel room or suite in the main building or a lakeside cottage that sleeps up to 12 people. In additional to three meals per day, the all-inclusive resort offers unlimited play on their 9-hole golf course, three clay tennis courts, shuffleboard, volleyball, hiking trails, a supervised playhouse for children ages 2 to 5, sand beach with lifeguard, rowboats, sailboats, canoes and kayaks.

Beach gear is not provided, so guests must bring their own chairs, towels and toys. An area where fishermen can catch small-mouth bass and lake trout is available, but guests must first get a fishing license from the State of New Hampshire (wildlife.state.nh.us/licensing). The resort operates from June through September.

    The Tyler Place Family Resort

    • Tyler Place is nestled on the banks of Goose Bay near the Canadian border in northern Vermont. Tyler Place has been in operation since 1993, and has an "easygoing social atmosphere", according to The New York Times, "that encourages couples to invite each other to dinner, chat at the pool, play tennis, trade parenting advice or bond during mountain-bike trips."

Guest cottages are equipped with kitchenettes, screened-in porches and many have fireplaces. Infants and toddlers are each assigned a Parent's Helper upon arrival, freeing up Mom and Dad's time to take advantage of the many resort facilities such as sunrise yoga, champagne cruises, fishing, volleyball, hiking trails, trampolines, zip lines, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, swimming, tennis and much more. Children from 3 years of age and up are assigned to an age-appropriate supervised camp with daylong activities that extend until 8:30 p.m. The resort operates from May through September.
