How steep is Mt Everest?
Mt Everest does not have uniform steepness. The average slope angle of Mt. Everest is estimated to be around 35 degrees. However, there are certain sections or faces of the mountain that are much steeper. These include the West Face, which averages around 45 degrees, and the North Face, which averages about 60 degrees. These sections present challenging climbing routes due to their extreme steepness and require significant mountaineering skills to ascend safely.
