What to Bring
• Waterproof hiking boots or shoes with good ankle support
• Warm clothing (it can get cold at the summit, especially at night)
• A raincoat or poncho
• A hat and sunglasses
• Sunscreen
• Insect repellent
• A first-aid kit
• Plenty of water (at least 2 liters per person)
• Snacks
• A camera
• A flashlight
• A map and compass
What to Do
• Hike to the summit! The summit is located at an elevation of 2,922 meters (9,583 feet) and it takes about 6-8 hours to reach. The trail is well-marked and there are plenty of places to stop and rest along the way.
• Take a dip in the hot springs! There are several hot springs located near the summit, and they're a great way to relax after a long hike.
• Enjoy the views! The views from the summit are simply stunning. You can see for miles in every direction, and you'll get to see some of the most beautiful scenery in the Philippines.
• Stargaze! The night sky at Mt. Pulag is truly amazing. You can see millions of stars, and if you're lucky, you may even see a shooting star or two.
