Is Antarctica dark all the time in summer?

Antarctica does experience daylight during its summer months, which last from November to February. When it's summer in the northern hemisphere, it's opposite on the other side of the globe - Antartica! The sun shines almost 24 hours a day. During the short, dark polar nights of Antarctica's southern winter months from May to August, they don't see the sun at all for a few months.
