"River Flows in You" and Twilight: Clarifying the Connection

"River Flows in You" is a popular piano piece by South Korean composer Yiruma (Lee Ru-ma), released in 2001 on his album First Love. It is not from the Twilight soundtrack.

The confusion arises because:

• The piece's romantic, melancholic mood fits the Twilight aesthetic.
• It's frequently used in fan-made Twilight videos, edits, and playlists.
• Yiruma's "Kiss the Rain" is similarly associated.

The actual Twilight (2008) soundtrack features artists like Paramore ("Decode"), Muse ("Supermassive Black Hole"), Carter Burwell (score), and Robert Pattinson ("Never Think"). Yiruma's music was not licensed for the films.

Yiruma has since performed at Twilight fan conventions, acknowledging the fan-driven link. But officially, "River Flows in You" is a standalone contemporary classical piece, not a Twilight theme.
