Step 5: Prepare for the Tour

Wear comfortable shoes as you'll do some walking during the tour.

Step 6: Arrive at the Tour Starting Point
Meet at the designated location provided by your tour company. The starting point is typically in the South Korean city of Paju.
Step 7: Security Checks and Bus Ride
Go through security checks before entering the DMZ. You may be asked to leave certain belongings behind.
Board a bus provided by the UN that will take you through the DMZ to the JSA.
Step 8: Arrive at the JSA and Panmunjom
Upon reaching the JSA, you'll step onto the blue conference room, which marks the actual line of military demarcation between North and South Korea.
Follow your tour guide and listen carefully to their instructions and commentary.
You can take photos and observe the area from designated points.
Step 9: Return to the Starting Point
After spending time at the JSA, you'll return to the bus and be taken back to the starting point.

After completing your JSA tour, you can continue exploring other areas in South Korea or North Korea if permitted by your itinerary.
