What is the current status of gorillas in north America?

Gorillas do not live in North America. They are native to the forests of central and western Africa. Their geographic range includes parts of Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Uganda.
