Is rhodesia still on the map?

Rhodesia is no longer on the map. The country was renamed Zimbabwe in 1980 after gaining independence from the United Kingdom. The name Rhodesia was derived from Cecil John Rhodes, the British businessman and politician who founded the British South Africa Company, which administered the region from 1890 to 1923.
