Is There Still War in Sudan?

Yes. Despite a 2005 peace agreement ending the north-south civil war, conflicts persist in Darfur, South Kordofan, and Blue Nile. The Darfur conflict (since 2003) involves government, Janjaweed militias, and rebels, with documented war crimes and millions displaced. Post-2011 South Sudan independence brought border disputes (Abyei). Sporadic fighting continues in the Nuba Mountains and Blue Nile. Peace efforts remain slow and fragile.
