Why Ethiopia is not a member of Arab league?

Ethiopia is not a member of the Arab League because it is not an Arab country. The Arab League is a regional organization of Arab states in and around North Africa and Southwest Asia. Ethiopia is a country in East Africa and is not considered to be an Arab country.
