Liberia's national sport is football (soccer). Other popular sports include basketball, athletics, boxing, swimming, and volleyball. Traditional sports games that involve tribal customs that involve dancing and games, such as Kpar Kpay or wrestling. Liberia has participated in the Olympic Games since 1956 but has yet to win a medal.
