Who settled Egypt?

Egypt was first settled around 6,000 BC by nomadic people from the deserts of North Africa and the Middle East. These early settlers established small villages along the Nile River, where they farmed the fertile land and raised livestock. Over time, these settlements grew into larger towns and cities, and the Egyptian civilization began to take shape.

The ancient Egyptians were a highly advanced civilization, with a rich culture and a complex social structure. They developed a system of hieroglyphic writing, built some of the world's most famous monuments, and made significant advances in mathematics, astronomy, and medicine.

The Egyptian civilization lasted for over 3,000 years, from the Predynastic Period (c. 6,000-3,100 BC) to the Roman Period (30 BC-641 AD). It was one of the most influential civilizations in the ancient world, and its legacy can still be seen today in the culture and architecture of modern Egypt.
