What does Morocco have to do with Africa?
Morocco is one of the 54 countries that make up the African continent. Geographically, Morocco is mostly located in North Africa, with the city of Ceuta being an autonomous region of Spain located on the northern tip of Morocco that is technically considered part of Europe. Historically, Morocco has been closely tied to other African nations, both through trade and cultural exchanges, as well as through its participation in various African organisations such as the African Union and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
