Louisville, Kentucky, is a historic southern city known for its waterfront location. Located in the northwestern corner of the state on the Ohio River, the city is packed with landmarks and attractions, including museums, sporting facilities and night life. What some tourists and residents in the city may not know is that Louisville also offers another type of treat: great steak houses.

The doors close at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Patrons can enter the bar daily at 5 p.m. Private dining rooms can be booked for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Diners at Morton's will have their choice of large steaks: double cut filet mignon, porterhouse, double porterhouse, single cut prime New York strip, Chicago-style bone-in rib-eye and prime rib. The "slightly smaller" steaks menu adds filet Oskar and Cajun rib-eye to the selection.
Morton's is located in downtown Louisville, within walking distance of city hotels, including the Seelbach Hilton and historic Galt House. The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, Louisville Slugger Museum and Louisville Glass Works are also within walking distance.
