Lake Chad is located in Africa. It is the largest freshwater lake in the African continent. Lake Chad lies in the central Saharan region, at the intersection of the borders of Niger, Cameroon, Nigeria and Chad. The lake and the surrounding wetlands are fed by the Chari and Logone rivers.
