When is the best time to go Kenya?

Kenya can be visited year-round but there are two main, long rainy seasons that are worth knowing about - from mid-March to end May, then again from November to December with short rains usually falling in November. Most visitors aim for Kenya's dry seasons and, in particular, the period July- October is known as 'the Great Migration'. The wildebeest are in prime position in the Maasai Mara at this time of year which, combined with perfect safari weather makes it, by far, the most popular (and most expensive) time to visit
