Uzbekistan does not have the Ural river or the Ural mountain range within its territory. The Ural river flows through Russia and Kazakhstan and the Ural mountains form the natural boundary between Europe and Asia. Uzbekistan is a landlocked country located in Central Asia and its geographic features include the Kyzylkum desert, the Tien Shan mountains, and the Amu Darya river.
