What is Japans religon?

Japan does not have an official state religion, but Shinto and Buddhism are the two main religions practiced in the country. Shinto is an indigenous religion that originated in Japan, while Buddhism was introduced from China and Korea in the 6th century. Both religions have influenced Japanese culture and society, and many Japanese people practice elements of both religions. There are also significant minority populations of Christians and Muslims in Japan.
