Why do some races in Asian end with like Chinese and Japanese

The term "races" is outdated and does not accurately reflect the diversity of human populations. Instead, it is more appropriate to refer to different ethnic groups or geographical origins. The terms "Chinese" and "Japanese" refer to people of Chinese and Japanese ethnicity, respectively, and are not related to races.
