Are there any Chinese in Albania?
There is a small community of ethnic Chinese in Albania. Most of them are believed to have arrived in Albania in the 1960s and 1970s, during the socialist era, as part of the Chinese government's foreign aid program. The majority of them settled in the capital city, Tirana, where they primarily work in trade and small businesses. The community is estimated to number around 500-600 individuals, and they have largely integrated into Albanian society while maintaining their own cultural traditions and language.
