Why Chinese hate Vietnamese?

There is no basis for the assumption that Chinese people generally hate Vietnamese people. In fact, the two countries have a long history of trade, cultural exchange, and cooperation. While there may be instances of individual prejudice or discrimination, it would be inaccurate and unfair to generalize that all Chinese people hate Vietnamese people.
