Professional wrestling career:

Early career (2006–2011)

Carter began training to become a professional wrestler in 2006 under Curtis Hughes at the "Wresting Xpress Pro" wrestling school. She made her professional wrestling debut on March 11, 2006 at an Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South (IWA Mid-South) event under the ring name Asia. She mostly wrestled in the Chicago-land area for various promotions, including IWA Mid-South and NWA Midwest, before signing a developmental contract with WWE in 2011.

World Wrestling Entertainment / WWE (2011–2016)

Developmental territories (2011–2012)

After signing with WWE, Carter was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), WWE's developmental territory at the time. She made her FCW debut on September 15, 2011, under the ring name Cameron, teaming with Aksana and defeating Naomi and Sonia. She then formed an alliance with Naomi, and together they defeated the team of Aksana and Natalya on November 17.

The Funkadactyls (2012–2014)

On January 16, 2012, at the live Raw in Corpus Christi, Texas, Cameron and Naomi made their main roster debut as "The Funkadactyls" by accompanying Brodus Clay to the ring. They would continue to accompany Clay to the ring for his matches and perform dance routines during his entrances. On April 12, 2012, Cameron made her first televised in-ring appearance on the SmackDown brand, participating in a Diva battle royal for a chance at the WWE Divas Championship. She competed sporadically in singles and tag team matches and was mostly involved in comedy storylines with Clay and Naomi.

Heel turn and departure (2014–2016)

In July 2014, Cameron and Naomi turned heel by mocking the fans and showing jealousy towards Brie and Nikki Bella. They engaged in a feud with the Bella Twins and lost to them in several tag team matches. In November, Cameron was suspended for 30 days due to her second violation of WWE's Wellness Policy.

Upon her return from suspension in January 2015, Cameron allied herself with Summer Rae, and the two formed a heel duo. They feuded with Paige and Alicia Fox, and briefly with The Bella Twins again. In late 2015, Cameron and Rae became involved in a storyline with The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods), with Cameron and Rae serving as their valets.

On November 16, 2015, Cameron suffered a torn meniscus in her left knee during a live SmackDown event in London. She underwent surgery and was expected to be out of action for several weeks. On May 6, 2016, WWE announced that Cameron had been released from the company.

Independent circuit (2016–present)

After leaving WWE, Cameron returned to the independent circuit and made appearances for various promotions, including SHINE Wrestling, Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU), Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Impact Wrestling, and Reality of Wrestling (ROW).
